The NoE PolyNet (Network of Excellence for the Exploitation of Organic and Large Area Electronics) was a Project in the 7th Research Framework Program of the EU (European Commission, Directorate General of Information Technology & Media). It also has formed part of a joint initiative of 4 Collaborative Action Projects within the seventh Framework Programme, the "Quadriga".

This section aims to support companies as well as research communities through several services. PolyNet Services provide cost effective and easily accessible services through a single customer interface.

Research Cooperation

The main task of the research cooperation platform was to perform collaborative research work in cooperation clusters focussing on critical research issues previously determined such as Laser ablation, thin film batteries, Nanoimprint lithography, multifunctional materials, etc.

Knowledge

The aim of the PolyNet Knowledge Platform was to provide a scientific and technological survey of organic and large area electronics developments worldwide.

The central tool of the Knowledge platform was the European Observatory of Organic Electronics (EOOE). The EOOE still exist and have conferences every year.
